ADAPTATION AND VALIDATION OF AN ADAPTED ICF CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM.

SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING FUNCTIONAL CAPACITIES IN RELATION TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORT.

Project developed by the research area of GaituzSport whose purpose is to design and validate a classification tool adapting the classification system of the ICF (International Classification of Functioning) to the field of physical and sporting activity, so that, also from the social and sporting sphere, the group of people with disabilities and/or health disorders can be classified with a well-established and internationally recognised classification system.

The project has been funded under the line of subsidies for knowledge management activities for social intervention of the Department of Equality, Justice and Social Policies of the Basque Government and also through the Investigo 2022 programme, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
