The Digital Transformation Forum 2024, under the heading “Sports – Activation with sustainable impact”, organized by ONLYONE AGENCY, with the participation of prestigious speakers and bodies, who made important contributions, sharing experiences and knowledge, was held on 19th March.
The encounter took place at Miribilla Frontón, Bilbao with the attendance of a hundred people from all walks of life: business, institutional, technology, sport and health.
Innovation is in GaituzSport DNA, and technology is both an ally and opportunity in our work.
Our Chairman, Xabier Leizea, presented the innovative digital support platform “Kiprest” which provides support for the disABLED and/or health disorders to they can access physical activity and sports, thereby favouring their inclusion process at the Forum.
Ane Miren Ibáñez Zugazaga, Bilbao City Council Modernisation Director highlighted “innovation and technology as motors to drive and advance towards a healthier, more sustainable and inclusive society” in her opening speech, in addition to reiterating Bilbao City Council’s commitment to the Bilbao digital transformation agenda containing over 30 strategic projects.
Messrs. Mikel Urbano Díaz de Guereñu, Mugikon Project Director; Igor Emery Echegoyen, Founder of Bi On Be; and Aritz Guinea, Founder of Wellk also presented successful digital solutions.
Sharing business experiences in a lively debate were: Jesús Beamonte, Forum Sport Communication Director, Isabel Iturbe, Surne Bilbao Basket Chairwoman, Juan Carlos Santamaría, Inihealth Communication Director; and Edu Uribesalgo, Ternua Group Innovation & Sustainability Director.
Francisco Roca, Sport Without Barriers Foundation Chairman’s intervention offered a human and solidarity viewpoint.
The Forum concluded with a showroom networking activity where attendees and speakers could continue sharing and explaining in-depth the Apps presented.
