Scientific evidence supports the practice of physical activity is an essential mental and physical health factor for everyone, namely: it reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer and HBP among others. It improves your mood and helps control stress, anxiety, and depression besides fostering inclusion and sociability.
At GaituzSport we foster and facilitate physical activity practice for with the disABLED in equal conditions and community contexts providing the necessary resources and social transference.
We are holding 2 Healthy Habits Workshops through Physical Activity in Santurtzi on 21st and 28th May.
These free inclusive workshops are aimed at both the disABLED and ABLED, where the participants will be informed of the physical-sports services likewise the resources available under Santurtzi’s municipal offer in the Mikel Truebe and Kabiezes sports centres in a city environment like the parks, to lead a more active life with healthier habits.
A unique opportunity to start or resume physical activity practice in equal conditions with the advice and accompaniment of GaituzSport instructors who are PhysEd & Sports graduates specialised in health.
DEVELOPMENT:
One of the healthy habits workshops is informative and the other practical, taking into account the participants characteristics, as well as via innovative interactive methodologies.

Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
The open air workshops explain the resources available, together with the options and resources available which bio-healthy parks offer to optimise physical activity practice with an exercise session using machines and other support materials.
These activities are carried out as per the participants’ capacities.
