The main aim of Osakinbide designed by GaituzSport is to favour the functional readaptation process and social reinsertion of the disABLED via physical work and effort physiology from a global health concept (physical, psychical and social relationship recovery).

The programme is aimed at pensioners protected by and adhered to Mutualia, after suffering an industrial accident or professional illness, who have an acknowledged permanent incapacity.
The Mutualia Osakinbide programme designed by GaituzSport and which began in October 2019 is a health, integration, normalisation and social inclusion programme based on basic Adapted Physical Activity. People who have become disabled due to an industrial accident or professional illness take part in Osakinbide which is done in groups.
The programme helps complete the rehab programme of the disabled from multidiscipline health perspective; moreover it encourages physical activity and adapted sport as a leisure element and fostering social relations. All these aspects affect the improvement in life quality of the project participants.
The activity is particularly recommended for people with an acknowledged degree pf permanent, equal or greater than total incapacity wishing to improve their physical condition and health.
The work in all these activities is focused on achieving an increase in physical and mental well-being alternating sessions in the gym and pool.
ACTIVITIES
The sports activities have been designed and are supervised by GaituzSport technical area specialists with specialisation in health and disability. Each Osakinbide group has 10 participants maximum.
The participants’ physical activities focus on:
- Basic Physical Activity.
- Water Activities.
- Strength / Muscle Tone Initiation.
- A fun initiation from health parameters.

The Osakinbide programme is run in Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
