The event will be held at Hotel Carlton, Bilbao with the sponsorship of the Basque Government, Laboral Kutxa and Kirolene on 25th November.
“Weaving networks for inclusion via Physical Activity and Sports”, is a DYNAMIC, INNOVATIVE and INTERACTIVE FORUM, to discuss and exchange knowledge, experience and good practices whose aim is to share conclusions.
Doing Physical Activity is an essential physical and mental health factor, besides being an inclusion and socialisation tool for everyone who will become ill in this decade due to a sedentary lifestyle: heart disease, diabetes, cancer and other non-transmissible illnesses, unless governments take urgent steps to foster physical activity among their populations.
The disabled and/or with pathologies are the population sectors most likely to be physically inactive.
Physical activity and health from: their different perspectives, promotion, social and health repercussion and inclusion, among others will be discussed in this analysis and reflection space; and moderated by Xabier Leizea, GaituzSport General Co-ordinator and Kirolene Teacher together with health journalist, Marta Fernández Rivera, GaituzSport Communication Director.
